Subject:Lead stacking Boxes and Cup & Saucer
Posted By: London Allen Tue, Apr 30, 2019 IP: 2600:8807:c100:2097:

These all came together in a very old box.
Any information would be appreciated.

There is a square box with women carved into the lid and a silvered mirror inside the lid

Round stacking boxes with a Buddha riding a foo dog?

And 4 cups and saucers with Japanese style dragons carved into them

All made of lead
Thank you in advance

There are several marks stamped on the bottoms,
from which they turn out to be Chinese.

FYI: The cup & saucer and round stacking boxes are usually made for edibles, thus may be Chinese pewter instead of lead.

Best regards,

Bill H.
