Subject:Cloisonne Bowls with pics

I have two small (3" diameter) matching bowls, not quite identical. I'm wondering if these are just tourist quality, or something collectible? The work seems quite fine, with possibly some gold inlay.

That's not cloisonne.
Cloisonne is a technique of decorating metalware (such as a copper or brass bowl) by soldering wires to form "cloisons" or partitions/compartments, which are then filled with enamel and then fired.
Your examples are some sort of ceramic or pottery.
Perhaps someone else here who is an an expert in that field can give you more information as to the quality and value of your examples.

Thanks, yes, no metal framing on these. Wondering if someone can translate the Kanji here?
