I am hoping that someone here can shed some light on a set of reproduction prints (litho) referenced above. I didn't have any illusions about any great value but would appreciate it if someone could translate the label inside the box. Another detail that I am curious about is what looks like the edition/printing date on the label, am I reading it correctly at Dec. 21, 2002?

The date is Showa 54 (1979) and the publisher is 野間省一 (Noma Shoichi).

Are you sure this is a lithograph? The list price is 180,000 yen, which was a lot of money in 1979 ($1800?)

The set is number 317, but I didn't see an edition size. It just says limited production number (限定作製番号) above the 317.

Thanks again for the help! I took a loupe to one of the prints and they are indeed machine offset lithographs albeit high quality ones. I can find no additional info on this edition but found that the publishers have done many pricey (well into the thousands) limited books throughout the years.
