Chinese. In my opinion, circa second quarter, 20th century. Features a magpie lunching on insects in a chrysanthemum bush.

Beautiful Chinese vase circa Republic period 1912-49.
Would have liked to have seen the base.

The “jianding” red wax export is a bit warped and blurry but looks somewhat like it may be from Customs Bureau #3 in Shanghai.
