Posted By: Kevin Barber Thu, Jun 24, 2021 Thank you both for your responses. I aquired this bowl from a dealer who bought it in 2004 from a business man for 400 dollars. I bought it from him in 2019 for 1000 dollars. What I noticed about the bowl that caught my attention was the glaze pattern. I looks as if you are looking into night sky. those brown streaks makes the bowl even more appealing to the eyes. I looked almost every were to find a bowl that looks like this one but I haven't found it. Every bowl I find, the glaze is either dull or the glaze doesn't have a bas-relief like texture to it like this one does. That is just my observation of the the bowl. |
