Posted By: alexander Sun, Oct 02, 2022 IP: 2a02:a466:3c7a:1:5ff Does anyone know the source to the huge nephrite jade object from china? This example is a 50 x 50 x 5 cm large nephrite jade ceremonial axe. i presume it is not old or is it? |

Its material is possibly serpentine and even it was made of nephrite, would not be nephrite jade that could be found or mined in China, based on its color appearance. With all these cartoon figures copied from somewhere, IMHO to call it a Chinese piece especially a Neolithic piece is simply offensive. |
