Markings in the coat of arms are the first characters of four district magistrates during the Qing Dynasty in Jiangxi Province; 撫建廣饒
摭州 Fuzhou
建昌 Jianchang
廣信 Guangxin
饒州 Raozhou
These magistrates were organized into a circuit in
the hierarchy of territorial administration with a circuit intendant on its head. The intendant was called Taotai and he was responsible for, among other things, customs and other matters related to foreigners.
With regards,
I.Nagy

Hi Yienyien80134, the Chinese characters writes 撫建廣饒 which indicates where the ceramic was made, north east region of modern day Jiangxi province, include the famous ceramic city Jingdezhen. The full name should be 撫建廣饒九南道 or "the circuits (an old political division of China) of Fu, Jian, Guang, Rao, Jiu and Nan".

According to the "Draft History of Qing", the circuit intendant of the area is responsible for customs, water services, and ceramic wares. The object probably dates to the early 1900s since the Fu and Jian was not added until 1909.
