A pair of gu form vases

The principal motif on the widely flaring neck, central bulb and flared foot is an elegantly proportioned scrolling lotus, separated into fields by bands of leaves and ruyi heads. The galleried rim and raised foot are encircled with key fret, and the gilt ground is slightly stippled.
