Detail: 10 Chancery Lane Gallery artists Shao Yinong and Muchen are among the ten Asian artists participating in this exhibition which honours the richness and variety of inspirations from across Asia. Bringing together installation, photography, video and animation in an environment reinterpreted by Japanese architectural duo `assistant' (Megumi Matsubara, Hiroi Ariyama), a selection of works by Heman Chong, Jeong Mee Yoon, Lee Jie Song, Michael Arcega, On Kawara, Shao Yinong & Muchen, Sun Xun, Xu Zhen, Yuki Kimura and Yukinori Maeda, the exhibition sketches out an oblique approach, uniting emerging and confirmed artists echoing in harmonious discordances, from Singapore to Beijing, Tokyo to Manila, Shanghai to Seoul.
