Detail: A series of fourteen paintings which bring a sense of exile, nostalgic relationships and fragmented memories in a modern nomad life. Mediha Ting is a true urban nomad - born in Belgium to Taiwanese parents, educated in Hong Kong and North America, now resident in London. She uses images boldly and outrageously to help express her memories and emotions which echo the many souls of a cosmopolitan city. The overlapping images, subconscious styles and fluorescent colours show a strong desire to express a most hidden self.
