Detail: The first edition of the �Biennial of the End of the World� (Bienal del Fin del Mundo) is an Argentinean contribution to the International Polar Year 2007/2008. The event is a joint project between Argentina and Brazil and is actualized by the Argentinean Fundaci�n Patagonia Arte y Desaf�o with the institutional support of the Funda��o Memorial da Am�rica Latina from S�o Paulo, Brazil. Basically, the Biennial�s theme can be summarized as �pondering at the end of the world, what other world is possible� (Pensar en el fin del mundo, qu� otro mundo es posible). An aesthetic discourse of such sorts shall be articulated by linking art and politics with poetry, ecology and technology.
