One of the ten Dharmapalas, Vajrapani stands on a lotus base with beaded rims, he steps to the right in the warriors pose and in his right hand, and he holds a five-prolonged vajra, the symbol of the power of compassion, while his left portrays the threatening mudra. He wears a jewel crown, short tiger skin skirt, necklaces and armlets. His hair is in flames.
Vajrapani is often described in dark blue color and in a wrathful expression. He was designed as the as the guardian of Mongolians since Avtai Khaan.
