Mongolians have rich treasury of women ornaments. This headdress was being used in 18-19th century. The ornaments are made of silver and then gilded. The helmet-like cap with a circular opening on top is inlaid with coral on the front part and coral, turquoise and precious stones are inlaid forming crayfishes. The headdress includes a helmet-like cap with a circular opening on top, a neck plate, two wing-shaped ear pieces, four pieces of hair clips, two end clips, and two silver tassels, consisting of chains and small pendants, dangle from two hooks attached to the front of the skullcap.
