Subject:Four stamps on this painting
Posted By: Dennis Loss Mon, Sep 28, 2015 IP: 108.235.226.212 Hello, Can anyone tell me what these four stamps on this beautiful turtle dove painting mean? Who painted it and when? Anything about the subject matter? The white glare on this painting is reflection on the glass not discoloration of the painting. thanks, Dennis |

It was common practice in China to put one's personal seal on works of art in their collection. It actually enhances the value of the work to show it's provenance. |
