It's possible that the seals are those of Ma Yuanyu 馬元馭 (1669-1722). The lower seal characters look like Yuan Yu. The top seal could be Fu Yi 扶義. Closely similar seals were used by Ma.

wonderful job Tom! I agree they are meant to be Ma Yuanyu seals, but am not familiar enough with his painting to know if the pictures are in his style. he seems to be associated with bird and flower pictures in fine detail.

Thank you all of you (Lee, Tom, and Rat) for responding to my posting. I have searched on Google and have found similar subjects such as bird and flower like Rat has mentioned on paintings by Ma Yaunyu. But the picture I post shows a different subject, at the bottom is a peasant with a boy ,in the middle is a emperor court, and above the picture are mountains. I would appreciate any comments by the experts. Again, thank you

Chuck,
You can stop looking at Ma Yuanyu as the artist of your painting.
It was most definitely not painted by him. He was a master of what
was called the 'boneless' style of Chinese painting. This technique
needs a master's touch of the brush, as it created detailed 3-D visualizations
without an outline, and at times strokes may be added to create details.
Many 20th Century Chinese artists continued this type of brushwork.
A true master of this style was Yun Shouping who may have taught Ma Yuanyu.
I am enclosing some details from one of my Ma Yuanyu's[the two leves are done
in just six strokes of a properly 'inked' brush, and a painting sold at
auction. I was able to enhance your pic in Photoshop to bring out a little more detail from the seals. Perhaps this will help in identifying the artist of your painting.

Hi. I bought this painting in a car boot. Was wondering who the artist is and what it may be worth. Detail is amazing. Thanks neil.
