Subject:Help identifying woodcut print
Posted By: M. Steve Sun, May 11, 2014 IP: 63.164.201.110

Hello all. I have a print that was apparently made from a woodcut. It's title is "The Fourth House' and was produced by an artist by the name of Karl Korn. It is signed by the artist in pencil and numbered as '2/10'. The print is on very fragile paper, perhaps a rice paper. It is also dated 1956. This coincides with the time my father spent in Tokyo during the Korean War. Any thoughts on this piece or help identifying the artist or the significance of the work would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting. My father served in the navy and was artist who made many pieces. I would be interested in seeing a picture.
