These three paintings are all on cloth, have non-uniform edges and seem to be painted on the cloth. They have been taped to a paper backing, but I lifted a corner of all, and the real edges of the painting on cloth are not straight. I didn't want to totally remove them from the paper to which they are attached; I was afraid they might tear. The signatures on each vary, from not clear to pretty legible. I also have the signature of the third posted (woodland scene) plus another of a Japanese bridge with cherry blossoms. I will add these once this message has been approved. I know nothing about these, nor do I have any provenance. I bought them at an estate sale: parents are gone and children don't know. I think they are beautiful and unusual whether they are valuable or not. I was wondering if you could identify the signature and perhaps the era/date? Any information would be most appreciated, thank you in advance.

The signature reads 'Shunpo' but I found no further relevant info about this artist.

The seal looks like 龍 (dragon, or emperor symbol). Right above it is 峰 (peak, summit). Above that could be 狻 (fabled beast) or 捘 (push) or something else. Don't know the Japanese. Hope this helps!

A fresh look ID's the top word as 俊 (talented, handsome).

Thanks also to you Tom. Another question to you both: is there a source--ie book, reference, online etc--that could take me further based on what you have given me? Any suggestions? Thank you again.
