Kraak style plate: Japanese or Chinese?

Subject:Kraak style plate: Japanese or Chinese?
Posted By: Ann L. Sat, Dec 06, 2014 IP: 173.51.94.90 Can anyone tell me whether my plate is Japanese or Chinese and what period it's from? Even I can see that it's clearly not of the Ming period. The plate is 8 1/2 inches in diameter and there are no spur marks. There is a brown pigment on the rim. thanks!
