Subject:Porcelain bottle kicking horse

This piece is not marked, hand painted with 2 different what looks like horses, one is looking behind him the other image the horse is kicking the tree branch. Anybody know who made this or the age possibly, or what this is depicting ?

new imitation of Japanese porcelain or of Chinese porcelain once made for the Japan market.

Here's a photo of an authentic Kutani-marked sake pourer (tokkuri) from around the late Meiji-Taisho period. I believe the Japanese character of it is apparent in the subtle and less crowded decoration than seen on yours. It also is appropriately glazed on the base in keeping with its utility as a container for liquid. Those pendant flowers around the neck of yours are much more of a Chinese touch than Japanese.
