In my opinion, these Chinese ginger jars with apocryphal Qing reign marks of Kangxi (left) and Yongzheng (right) probably were made around the early to mid-2nd quarter of the 20th century. At that time, the Chinese Civil War's manpower needs began to have an impact on skilled labor and artists at the factories in Jingdezhen. The situation became even more complicated after the Japanese began invading in 1936.
It's my impression that production of such jars probably picked up momentum again fairly soon after the end of World War II in 1945, but I have no way to tell for sure. I do have one jar shown here with a paper label on it that I suppose could date to around the late 40's or into the early mid-century, but there seems to be nothing unique about it to preclude an earlier 20th century dating. Perhaps others have some ideas on that.
