Subject:ANY ADVICE ?? 2 Scrolls ??
Posted By: reilley Fri, Jan 30, 2015 IP: 67.216.150.237

There are 2 of these scrolls that seem to be a set and meant to be hung side by side.
I am not sure if they are done in calligraphy or brushes.
Any idea who the artist is?
Or the year this was done?
Do these have any value ?
Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Again I apologize for my lack of knowledge and hope to learn as I research all of these pieces.
THANK YOU for taking the time to try and help me!!

not more than 25 years old, by someone named Wang Zhiwei from the city of Xian, meant as decorative pictures rather than "fine art". no commercial value.

East Asian artists traditionally used the same sort of brush for writing and painting alike.

This paper includes decorative gold-colored flecks, but was normally used for writing calligraphy rather than painting.
