Subject:appreciate the help to identify the manufacturer
Posted By: Inez Fri, Feb 13, 2015 IP: 81.231.177.49 I would appreciate help in identifying the manufacturer of these porcelain bowls. know very well that the marks is present, but are curious and want to find who and where they are from. Is the boat manufacturer's marks? or is it a custom job? all the information is of value to me.

Posted By: Bill H Sun, Feb 15, 2015 The character mark says the same thing as said in English, "Made in China". The characters are simplified, so the porcelain would be late 20th century. Porcelain could have been made for a shipping or passenger line other than Chinese.
