Subject:Japanese suiteki
Posted By: Steve Sun, Apr 26, 2015 IP: 70.215.18.108 I purchased this small water dropper at auction, advertised as an incense burner. I believe it to be Japanese although it represents a Chinese man. It is unmarked, but is there any way to identify the glaze or pottery style, and possible age? He is just over three inches tall. I'm also ignorant of what the character is cradling in his arms. Can anyone help?
