Subject:Hokusai "36 Views of Mount Fuji"
Posted By: Sunny Wed, Aug 26, 2015 IP: 68.173.61.86 I've been trying to find the answer somewhere to a question: why is it that there are different orderings of the paintings from Hokusai's collection "36 Views of Mount Fuji"? I'm a composer currently working on a piece based on the paintings and am frustrated by the many different editions that have different orders. Does anyone know if there is an "official" or "original" order? I've been working off of the link enclosed below. Does anyone know if this is a good resource? Thank you in advance.
