Subject:1960s Chinese Painting - acrylic painted acetate
Posted By: Erika Jones-Clary Tue, Nov 10, 2015 IP: 73.202.142.82

Greetings! My grandmother recently passed away and we discovered a cache of 12 paintings stored in her closet. My grandparents purchased the art most likely in 1961, while they were visiting Hong Kong.

The art appears to be acrylic painted acetate with layered colored paper on cardboard. The framed area within the mat is roughly sized 7x9 - Some appear to be signed "Lu Pan", "Lui Pan" or simply "Lu" and numbered.

I'm hoping to have some light shed on what my grandparents found so many years ago. My internet searches have come up short. Thank you kindly!
