Subject:Is this 18th Century Chinese Export Porcelain?
Posted By: Charles Tue, Jan 12, 2016 IP: 72.71.228.161

I recently found a couple of cups and saucers made from thin porcelain with hand painted decoration. They are not marked. I would like to know for sure that these are Chinese export porcelain, which I read was at its peak in the 18th century. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

This English Newhall type C&S popped up on my scope today and seems to signal a good potential candidate as parent kiln for yours, not to mention being 18th century to boot.
