Subject:Artists Marking/signature Identification
Posted By: Beth Palacios Sun, Jan 24, 2016 IP: 73.48.165.123 Any help identifying this is appreciated. I'm out of my element here, but would love to find out more about what I have. I can't even say it's a silk screen because to me, it feel like linen or fabric, but again I'm unfamiliar with this. When I removed the backing, there was a cardboard sticker that read "Columbia Display Service 1923" from Columbia Graphone Co. (Not sure if that is related or relevant because they are/were a record label?) The print/painting is about 21 inches by 22 inches, roughly. Any help or suggestions on how to identify are appreciated! Thank you for your time! |
