Posted By: yurike Thu, Apr 07, 2016 IP: 68.134.30.69

Good evening..
I have looked at kinrande and imari marks and have not found this marking anywhere. Anybody familiar with this mark and artist? Nicely done bowl.
Thank you for your time and replies.

Hi,

I've posted a picture with the character of your bowl. The same character is in the following mark: 大明 嘉靖 年製 (3e char.): Daimin Kasei Nensei, a Japanese imitation of Ming porcelain, meaning: made in the Great Ming periode of (emperor) JiaJing.
I think it's 3rd Q. 20th C. Imari.
Maybe someone else knows more about the mark and/or maker(s).
Regards,
Martin.
