Subject:Unusual Rockefeller Porcelain, 18th Century?
Posted By: B. Cha Wed, Jul 27, 2016 IP: 24.67.136.123 I have searched as much as I can and cannot find anything like this. I have found some similar artistic style Rockefeller export porcelain...all from 18th century. Though this particular 'cake tray' design seems rare. The hallmark is "222". |

Posted By: Bill H Thu, Jul 28, 2016 This transfer decorated cake dish probably comes from an English or other European maker, and judging from the staining, may be stoneware as opposed to porcelain. The 18th century Chinese export "Rockefeller" patterns were hand-painted and considerably more opulent. |
