Subject:Chinese bronze inlaid with gold and silver.
Posted By: James Wed, Sep 28, 2016 IP: 89.144.192.133 Does anyone have any thoughts on this item, found in a german fleamarket, attached to a marble base.Old label says China 18th century. Very nice patina. Maybe a ming reproduction of an archaic vase or censer? Perhaps the original vase was damaged and the handles sawn off? Any more info greatly appreciated. Regards J |
