I notice there are a few Japanese marks listed for identification and I have yet another one to add to the list...many thanks!

This is a seal script version of a mark found on 17th century blue and white procelians from china and then copied in Japanese pieces, FU GUI JIA QI - which translates to Beautiful vessel for the rich and honourable. It is usually found in pieces from china dating from the Jiajing to Chongzhen reigns ( 1522 - 1644) and then copied in export examples from that period onwards in ko-sometsuke pieces for Japan and later in Arita and Imari in Japan.
