| Cup with metal rims |

Message I got this cup off eBay. Noboby else bid on it so I got it for less than $20. It's got a metal band on the top rim and the foot rim too. It looks real old but it could have had a hard life. I know it has to have a certain age to it, so how old is it? It's actually rather elegant looking.
