Message A really very lovely piece of 19th Century Akae Saiko-Kutani. I particularly like the shape of the plate, really very nice. In my opinion pieces such as this are currently greatly undervalued by Western markets (all markets in truth) given the skill, artistry, and beauty of the pieces. I don't know if this will ever change but I do know that appreciation of the lesser-known Japanese porcelain types is on the rise, here in Australia at the very least. Post a Response |
