Message In my opinion, your vase or pot probably dates to the latter second quarter of the 20th century Republic period, when the kilns were short of artists and materials due to the Japanese invasion and competition between their forces and the Chinese warlords for control of the porcelain production center at Jingdezhen. The shortage of materials are evident in the dull enamels and nontraditional painting techniques seen on this piece. The stamped mark and traces of black script on the inner rim edge are unreadable.
