Message Thanks for your interest , here is more info ! http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h116/2025dave/beswick132.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h116/2025dave/beswick144.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h116/2025dave/beswick142.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h116/2025dave/beswick136.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h116/2025dave/beswick134.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h116/2025dave/beswick135.jpg These two plates/bowls measure almost 10" , they are made of metal which shines a silver color when scratched hard , one plate is split and the gilding is mostly worn away , the metal bends quite easily and will bend back without splitting , it is not magnetic ! The reverse has a shiny silver finish with I think brush stroke marks , there is some green oxidization though I am not sure if this was left within a cleaning liquid when used . Black appears to be applied over the gilt decoration . Plates are quite heavy at just over 550 grms , the one in better condition is 25 grms heavier . The design is very proud and they are concave , I suppose they are almost bowls ! Post a Response |
