wood statue |

Message I have a carved wood statue of Kaun Yin that stands 26" tall and 10" wide. I was told this piece was very old ( example of the tradition of large wood figures made for temples through the Song and Jin dynasties.)I was told this was a beautiful museum quality item. I believe this piece was given to my Uncle in the 1940's by the Prince Monipong. I have several excellent pictures of this item that I can email to anyone interested in helping me learn more about this item. Thanks, Nancy Post a Response |
