Re: Looking for info reg. 17th century Thai statue with original burial ashes |

Message Anita, sorry it took me all week to get these pics done. The statue is approx. 7" high and the base is about 4" x 4 1/2", (not including the black base which needs to be removed by a professional). The first pic may appear shiny - if so, it's from the flash as the statue is far from being shiny. I doubt that it has ever been cleaned or polished. The last pic was taken to show what is underneath the body of the statue which is where the cremated ashes are kept. Thanks for any help you can give! Susan Post a Response |
