Message Thanks for the replies. I realize that almost all "antiques" in these shops in China are reproductions ("fakes"), and though I liked this jar I was skeptical about its age. I picked up a couple of other doucai porcelain pieces that appear to have a Qianlong mark. I suppose that they are also most likely to be modern reproductions but I'll post them in any case when I have time to see what others think. In my opinion they are quite nice. James.
