Hello, I have inherritated alot of asian art-Furniture-Pictures-Statues-Jade-Ivory-dishes-vases-dolls-lamps-rugs-etc. I got these items from my Uncle who taught the King of Cambodia's children in the 1940's. I believe some of my items are from the King. My Uncle also lived in Japan for many years. I believe my pieces to be of fine quality & excelent condition. I do not have any appraisals or paper work on these items. I believe alot of my items are one of a kind-Also can't find markings on alot of the items and if I do don't know what it is. I have researched but with out any luck. I have sent pictures to New York and San Franciso. They tell me they want $1,000.00's of dollars to research these items. San Francisco wanted me to pack everything up and send it to them. I at this point don't trust anybody. Would like to see if someone could help me and give me some instuctions on how to wisely go about geting these items appraised. We are wanting to retire and move to a smaller home and I can't till I sell some of these items-I have a house full. I feel that if someone looked at the pictures that possibly it would be worth there while to come to me to appraise and help market these items. If anyone can be of help you can email me and I can send you some pictures or you can just give me some advise as to how to go about this. Thank you in advance for any help you might provide. Thanks, Nancy
