Message Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your pot de chambre is Chinese not Japanese, and most probably of post 1950s manufacture. This illustration is most certainly of a Japanese scene, but the stamped mark clearly reads Zhong Guo Zhi Zao - Made in China. The Guo character is written in the simplified form, which would generally indicate a data after 1956. Post a Response |
