Message Dear Mr.Hiong I have never seen Ban Chieng (approx 3600 yrs ago civilization) bells with high motif and design of clouds, water buffalo etc..on them. Ban Chieng bronze artefact are mostly simple and/or with geometric design, your bell look like of bronze Culture, China. Faking bronze of Ban Chieng is a general practise since the excavation have been published. They use broken, rusty, and valueless bronze artifacts to be melted and created whatever they like, then buried under the earth and pour the acid on the ground where the bronzes are buried for months. Some Thai curators mentioned that it is very difficult and unreliable for scientific method to date the fake pieces, since they were melted from ancient bronze. Closer pictures will do.
