Is crackle in black lacquer a sign of age in 12' x 3' wall panel? |

Message Dianne, Its really hard to tell from the photos - you would need closer shots to be able to tell for sure. However, black laquer is often wet-sanded with a fine sandpaper and the lines you are seeing may just be from that. This might be of interest to you - particularly since we have a sections devoted specifically to laquers and how they are created.
