These are pictures of the Bronze Vessel that I was not able to post on 11-10-07.
I am certain that it is not a snuff bottle. I have been told that it is too small to be one.
A frined and I think that we have traced the lineage back to Emperor KangXi's, through the clouds that are on the vessel, the same are on the dresses of his mother and grandmother. Out of all the Chinese pieces of art we have both looked at over the past 2 years, these are the only ones that have similar clouds.
The top of the vessel has also been removed and then replaced before the Cloisonn� was put on. The lines are plain to see if you look close.
We would like to find out the age of this small vessel, any help would be appreciated.
