asian table |

Message I need help getting any info on a table a purchased about 15 years ago. The table is craved with mother of pearl it has a pedestal and two tiered base with four craved fu dog feet the base has trees and deer like animals on it the top has a wooded trim about six inches wide in sections this also has mother of pearl the center is white and gray marble the top is about 40inches in diameter. the top turns. under it is a gallery with four turned spindles in the center is a large round piece attached to the top this allows the top to swivel. the base is round one large on the bottom and a smaller one sits on top on the bottom larger one all heavy craved with trees and leaves inlayed with mother of pearl the wood appears to be iron wood or rosewood the table is very heavy. its put together with flat wooded pegs any ideas ? please help Thanks james Post a Response |
