partridge feather tea bowl |
Posted By: fozhilin Posted Date: Aug 21, 2008 (09:17 AM) |
Message Dear all, According to the chinese literature article some kind of Jian kiln tea bowl was called partridge feather, meaning black and white glaze surface, for the exquisite beauty created by myriads of silver spots. Partridges feather has long been considered an distinguished piece of tea bowl during the Song Dynasty. Different from Yohen tenmoku, I think that Northern Song dynasty partridge's feather tea bowl is formed under strict technical control. Main factors includes chemical compositiom of the glaze, the finishing temperature, the warm-keeping time and the speed of cooling down etc. Look forward for your analysis and opinion on partridge feather tea bowl. Welcome to partridge-feather.com Sincerely yours, fozhilin |
