Message Dear Marcella Although posted pictures are far too bad to say anything about your stuff in particular, soft material are likely to be new or worthless. Why? Soft material (and yours is extremely soft): -if old: suface alteration would be too severe making identification very difficult, loosing the original carving interest. -if new it would be too easy to fake old material aspect, Therefore unless very good conservation condition it would be almost impossible to date from the surface aspect.
