| 5 inch by 4 inch Japanese pottery piece... |

Message my brother recently acquired this piece of pottery from a man of Japanese descent, who claimed it was given to him by his grandfather many years ago. It appears like the potter might have been imitating a human heart. Does anyone know anything about it? I would appreciate any information. Thank you in advance.
