Message All we know or think we know about this piece is it is of a warrior (someone mentioned Aztec, possibly) and was excavated off the coast of the island of Borneo which is surrounded by the South China Sea. It apparently has been age tested (circa 1650 A.D.) and is painted with berry juice and zinc clay. It is of solid wood and one-piece construction. This piece has never been repainted or restained. Thank you for any help you may be able to lend. Post a Response |
