Message I have a rather unusual request for help.......... I saw these two figures on a television show and couldn't get over them. I would love to be able to get something like them for my home. The thing is I don't know what they are or where they're from. They look Asian to me. I've checked museum sites and on-line galleries without finding anything similar, but -- as you know -- Asian art is a huge area covering so many different styles and time periods. In my search I found this site and I'm hoping that someone here knows what they are or at least recognizes the style / country of origin. I've taken screencaps of them. Unfortunately I could only get an image of the front of the first figure, but I've got the second figure from multiple angles. Being screencaps they're somewhat fuzzy, but you can still get the sense of them. I had to shrink some of the images to meet this board's limit of 600 pixels in width and 500 pixels in height. If you want to view the larger image please go to the link I included. I really do hope that you can tell me something about the figures. Thank you for at least looking. Margaret Post a Response |
