Message Jeff, These new carvings from China with some chemical dying of whatever the stone is. Are probably authentic hardstone rather than glass. Are not close imitations of anything ancient. Did vendor call them something specific, like 'Hongshan Jade'? In China, many hardstones long have been and still are called 'jade', even if not nephrite or jadeite. If from vendor located in China, could be hard to prove complete fraud. Good luck, Cal Post a Response |
